From humble beginnings Feel Hot Yoga began back in 2010 with portable heaters, tripping fuses in school halls. Quickly the classes grew and the need for proper heat and humidity in a dedicated studio became pressing so we opened Feel Hot St Albans in summer 2011. We soon realised the best teachers were the ones we trained ourselves, so we established FHY Teacher Training School to gurantee the highest level of teaching (as accredited by Yoga Alliance UK / Yoga Alliance Professionals). In 2012 we won Best New Business and in 2013 Feel Hot Watford opened it’s doors.
We like to think we are inclusive and welcoming – never clique, some of us wear sandals and eat lentils, some drink vodka and dance on tables.
We don’t care if you’re a banker or a bricklayer. Yoga is for everyone. Well being is for everyone. Go on, stretch yourself. Feel fit, feel great. Feel Hot Yoga.
Our Studios
Both our studios are dedicated practice spaces with the best heat and humidity money can buy. You are enjoying 10 complete fresh air changes every hour and an antibacterial environment that keeps everything smelling nice. We have male, female and disabled facilities including power showers and organic showering products.
We hire towels and yoga mats that are cleaned after each use. You can sit in our communal areas before and after class and enjoy healthy snacks and refreshments. You can also treat yourself to some of our fab yoga wear at competitive prices.

The Way We See Things
We are as active in our local communities as we are in our studios. We are driven by our business ethics and commitment to communities. Here’s what we do:-
Schools
Exam stress, anxiety, peer pressure, growing pains: it’s not easy being a kid these days. We can’t wave a magic wand, but we do teach kids how to be more comfortable in their own skin. As well as young people’s yoga, we also teach them mindfulness and breathing techniques in fun and engaging ways.
Businesses
The 9 to 5 treadmill can be gruelling [and often rather more than 9 to 5!]. Many people fancy trying Yoga, but just can’t fit it in. Not to worry: we fit Yoga round them. We reach out to businesses, local authorities and GP clinics and offer ‘taster tailored’ Yoga sessions, designed around the needs of the team. Stress busters, neck and shoulder tension release, posture clinics: a fast and effective 20 minutes is all it takes.
NHS and Healthcare Providers
These are key workers in our community, the people who are always there to support us when we need them. So the least we can do is return the favour. We give them generous discounts on all our classes, events and workshops. It’s their turn to get treated well.
Students
We know what it’s like to be a student [or just strapped for cash!]. Things can be…well…a little tight. To give them a helping hand – and to enjoy our wonderful yoga – we always welcome students to help out in our studios. In return, we offer subsidised classes. One day, in years to come, they can do the same for us!
